Cabinet Details

The kitchen island is a complex little package.  It includes special shelving in front of all of the down-draft cooktop plumbing, bead-board panels to tie in with the rest of the kitchen and custom turned-post.  We supplied the exact specifications to the granite fabricator so the counter would have exact details we wanted in the design.

This close-up shows how the turned post is integrated into the design.  The angled corners relates to the angled doors and gives proper isle clearance with the second larger island.
